　　主要从事鱼类免疫与病害防治研究工作，研究了多个鱼类免疫因子的应答机制，研制出多种具广谱抗菌活性的抗菌肽并探讨了其抗菌机制。发表SCI论文60余篇，其中第一/通讯作者论文32篇，获授权发明专利12项，获国家海洋局海洋创新成果二等奖、国家海洋局海洋科学技术二等奖和青岛市自然科学二等奖各1项。
